Hi there, my name is Fawn Liebengood. I am a senior at UH Manoa and I am studying Psychology. I am interested in love, sexuality, and love relationships. I enjoy science fiction and all things nerdy and geeky. I love to cook and I cook all of my meals at my apartment in Waikiki. Like all girls, I enjoy mani/pedis, shopping, beach, and being with my friends at Club Charm!

Recently, I have become obsessed with military psychology, especially the Marine Corp and counseling soldiers. Ever since I saw Full Metal Jacket and met a lot of Hawaii's military, I fell in love with our military and what they do. I feel like most Americans don't realize that most of the military in the Middle East is only 18 or 19. I also came across an article about a doctor doing therapy in Iraq. He found that the men did not fear death or injury, but being forgotten or unappreciated most. After I read that and began talking to the men, I was hooked!! I would like to go overseas to counsel our brave men and women proudly serving us. I am also in the UH Honors Program and Psi Chi (Psych Honor Society). My undergraduate honors thesis at UH is about the Kaneohe Bay Marines romantic and sexual behaviors surrounding deployment.

I grew up in wonderful Portland, OR and attended a private Christian school for 17 years. I graduated in 2006 and after taking a year off of school, I went to school in Los Angeles. However, I realized that it wasn't the place for me, and I transferred to Hawaii this summer.

I am a firm believer in the saying "You can do anything you set your mind to, you just have to work hard and stay strong". I joined Club Charm because I feel like I am an excellent example of someone who didn't fit in and was rejected by so many and now look at me! I am graduating a year early, honors student, my mentor is the most quoted social psychologist in the world, and I am on my way to getting my PhD! I would like to encourage young girls out there to keep their dreams close and keep it up no matter what anyone says :)
